1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Elva ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service. It's that simple.

2. Description of Service

Elva provides video and audio recording software for podcasters and content creators. We record locally, store in the cloud, and try not to make it complicated.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Use a strong password. Don't share it. If someone else uses your account, that's on you.

4. Your Content

You own your recordings. We don't claim any rights to them. We store them securely, but you should keep backups. We're not responsible if you delete something by accident.

Don't use Elva to record anything illegal. Obviously.

5. Payment and Refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You can cancel anytime. We don't do refunds for partial months, but we're reasonable humans—if something went wrong, talk to us.

6. Acceptable Use

Don't:

  • Use Elva for anything illegal
  • Try to hack or break the service
  • Resell access without permission
  • Record people without their consent
  • Upload malware or harmful content

If you do any of this, we'll terminate your account. No warnings.

7. Service Availability

We try to keep Elva running 24/7. Sometimes things break. We don't guarantee 100% uptime, but we fix issues as fast as we can.

8. Limitation of Liability

Elva is provided "as is." We're not liable for lost recordings, missed deadlines, or anything else that goes wrong. Use the service at your own risk. Download your recordings. Keep backups.

9. Changes to Terms

We might update these terms. When we do, we'll let you know. If you keep using Elva after changes, you accept the new terms.

10. Termination

You can close your account anytime. We can terminate your account if you violate these terms. Either way, your recordings go away when your account closes. Download them first.

Elva is operated from Oslo, Norway. These terms are governed by Norwegian law.
